GP Match is an affiliate company of Business Medical, a network of specialist business consultants advising GPs. GP Match was established as a dedicated resource to the area of entering and exiting General Practice due to the increasing demand for specialised expertise in this field.
Orla Murphy is the CEO of GP Match. She works with both establishing and retiring GPs identifying and explaining the business opportunities of each practice and presenting these opportunities to potential succeeding GPs looking for a viable career opportunity.
Every GPs’ situation is different. Orla will work with GPs individually to ascertain your needs and will put in place a structured plan.
Due to the diverse and comprehensive range of expertise at Business Medical, there will be an experienced consultant at hand at every step of this process, should you need it.
Orla formed Business Medical in 2012 after identifying the need to establish a coordinated network of experienced consultants under the one umbrella to provide clarity and accurate advice to GPs.
After completing her B.Comm in UCD in 2002, Orla was accepted onto the Smurfit Kappa Graduate Management Programme and continued to work in the Smurfit Kappa Group for over 5 years, in areas of health and safety and business development.
In 2007, Orla joined IMO Financial Services as a financial consultant where she worked for 4 years. During this time, Orla gained valuable experience and understanding of the business and financial needs of doctors which encouraged her to pursue the Business Medical network concept.
